Delivery and Refunds

DELIVERY CHARGES
Picture Frame World charges a flat rate delivery charge of £7.95 including VAT per order regardless of size within mainland UK,( excluding the Highlands of Scotland, Northern Ireland and all offshore islands. For these areas, please contact us for a postage Quote). On checkout, this fee will automatically be added to your total.
DELIVERY METHODS
              Your order is manufactured and despatched the day after it is received, so, if you order on Tuesday, we will despatch on wednesday and will be delivered on Thursday.
              It is a next working day delivery service, so no deliveries are made on weekends.
Our chosen carriers are Interink Express or APC. We cannot be held responsible for problems or delays that occur as a result of the courier service. Next Working Day delivery is unavailable for P.O. boxes, BFPO addresses, some areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.
DELIVERIES OUTSIDE OF MAINLAND UK
If you are ordering from outside mainland UK (including Ireland and Europe), delivery charges are different. Please contact us, and we will be happy to work out postage costs for you (Our details are listed on the contact us page, or you can call us on +44 (0)1484 654 654.
Goods ordered from us for delivery outside of the UK, may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied once the package reaches you. We cannot be responsible for these costs and we cannot determine what they will be. These additional expenses must be borne by the customer.
INCORRECT ADDRESSES
If you supply an address that is incorrect or outdated, the parcel is usually returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please ensure that you supply the correct delivery address when placing an order. If the delivery fails, you will have to pay another delivery charge for re-delivery. Also, our courier service requires a signature, please ensure that some one is available to receive delivery. The courier will leave a note if delivery is failed, please ensure that you contact them to arrange delivery.
BREAKAGES
All our frames are supplied with glass, which is fragile. We package our items to ensure that the risk of breakage is minimal, however, rough handling by carriers can result in breakages. Any damaged or faulty goods must be notified to us, either by email, fax, telephone or writing in 3 working days of reciept otherwise we cannot accept liability.
RETURNS
We want total satisfaction from our customers, we aim to offer the best service and quality in our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it to us within 30 days of delivery, unopened in its original packaging (with any shrink-wrap intact) and in a re-saleable condition, along with the reciept. We will refund the price that you paid for the item, we reserve the right to levy a 20% restocking charge. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty or broken (please see breakages). Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. Bespoke items, i.e. items which are non standard and are made to your specification are non returnable.

REFUND POLICY
Faulty Items The procedures, set out here, to cancel an order or return an item do not affect your right to reject faulty goods. If you receive a faulty item, please follow one of the procedures outlined in the returns section above.

Exclusions: Please note certain items cannot be returned, unless damaged or Pictureframeworld is at fault. These are customer specified sizes of frames and mounts.

Returning a gift: Cash refunds for gifts can only be made to the payment card used to purchase the goods.

Returning Goods: Please refer to our Returns section above for details of how and where to return goods. If you wish to return goods you have a duty to keep them in your possession and to take reasonable care of them until you return them. Please telephone us if you would like to return your order, and we will assist you with packing and returns. Goods must be returned in their original condition within the cooling off period.
